cheltenham conservative business forum

Honorary Patron: The Lord Parkinson of Carnforth

The Cheltenham Conservative Business Forum (CCBF) was launched during the autumn of 2008 by Mark Coote and CCBF Director, Dr Rashmi Misra.

The Forum launched a town-wide survey to almost 2000 local businesspeople asking for feedback on a number of key issues concerning business leaders.

The Business Forum provides a platform for local businesspeople – regardless of any political allegiance or loyalty – to open dialogue with Conservative Front bench Spokesmen and members of the Shadow Cabinet.

Mark Coote says, “I want Cheltenham to find its voice at Westminster and for front bench ministers in the Conservative Party to understand what a town like Cheltenham needs in terms of help and future measures.”

“The Cheltenham Conservative Business Forum provides that platform for local businesspeople, and it is our intention that the Business Forum acts as a catalyst for dialogue and discussion. Anyone can come along to our events and engage with issues pertinent to running business in or near the town.”

Dr Rashmi Misra, Director of the Forum, comments, “We welcome engagement from local businesses. I believe Cheltenham provides a fantastic environment for enterprise, and we want people running businesses to feel they have a link with future national legislators.”
